Quality Assurance Advisor Jobs
A quality assurance advisor is responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process adopted by the client complies with quality standards set by the industry and the products manufacture are of best quality. Specific duties of a quality assurance advisor are visiting clients' facilities, overseeing the production process, finding out erroneous methods or tools being adopted, manually checking the units manufactured for defects, performing various qualitative and destructive tests to test various desirable characteristics, preparing a detailed report in this matter, accepting or rejecting lots produced based on various criteria identified, designing quality control programs as asked for by clients, preparing training manuals and quality guidelines if felt necessary, and performing other tasks as required by the manufacturing engineer. A quality assurance advisor typically reports to a manufacturing director.
A quality assurance advisor should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Excellent academic credentials are essential for quality assurance advisor positions. Prior experience in this field may be advantageous.
