Quality Assurance Director Jobs
A quality assurance director is responsible for ensuring that the products being manufactured throughout the organization meet certain minimum quality requirements. Typical duties of a quality assurance director include supervising the entire quality assurance and quality control division; providing strategic leadership and vision to the department; establishing best practices and guidelines in the area of quality assurance; ensuring adherence to standards in all the manufacturing activities being performed at the plant; advising the management on the use of technology and being responsible for the safety all the workers in the plant. A quality assurance director typically reports to the vice president.
A quality assurance director should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Several years of progressively responsible experience in the area of quality management is essential for a quality assurance director role.
