Quality Assurance Manager Jobs
A quality assurance manager is responsible for ensuring that the products being manufactured throughout the unit meet a specific quality benchmark. Specific duties of a quality assurance manager include supervising the quality assurance executive, quality assurance auditors, quality assurance and workers; providing guidance to the field staff; establishing best practices and guidelines in the area; ensuring adherence to standards while manufacturing products; advising on the use of technology; providing training to staff in the area of quality assurance tools and performing other tasks as may be required. A quality assurance manager typically reports to the director.
A quality assurance manager should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Excellent academic credentials are required. Several years of progressively responsible experience in the area of quality management is essential for a quality assurance manager role.
