Quality Assurance Specialist Jobs
A quality assurance specialist is responsible for performing quality check for the goods or products which have passed the quality checking phase. Specific duties for a quality assurance specialist include going to manufacturing plants, collecting samples from the goods checked for quality and labeling them, noting down observations taken from various samples, giving quality ratings for samples checked by self and others, preparing quality assurance reports for the use of management and workers, giving feedbacks to workers and trainers, advising the machining operators and workers to adopt improved manufacturing practices, participating in training programs and guiding quality control executives on the use of various quality checking techniques. A quality assurance specialist typically reports to a quality assurance manager.
A quality assurance specialist should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a branch of engineering. Several years of experience in quality engineering and management is essential for a quality assurance specialist role. Strong knowledge of various manufacturing techniques and quality control techniques are required.
