Quality Assurance Representative Jobs description
A quality assurance representative is responsible for ensuring that the units produced or manufactured comply with quality standards set by the industry. Specific duties of a quality assurance representative are: overseeing the entire production process, finding out erroneous methods or tools being used by workers, minutely observing the units produced for visible defects, performing various tests so as to check for durability of the product and other desirable characteristics, taking down the findings, preparing reports, accepting or rejecting lots produced, participating in implementation of quality control programs, preparing training manuals and quality guidelines, and performing other tasks assigned by the manufacturing engineer. A quality assurance representative typically reports to a manufacturing engineer.A quality assurance representative should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Excellent academic credentials are essential for quality assurance representative positions. Prior experience in this field may be advantageous.
