Quality Control Clerk Jobs description
Quality control clerks conduct random sampling of products to ensure that quality control standards are met. Quality control clerk jobs are available with banks, warehouses, laboratories, retail outlets, manufacturing plants etc.Quality control clerks work under the supervision of quality control managers and supervisors and are primarily responsible for maintaining the integrity of customer orders and double checking the accuracy of quality control measures. It is the duty of a quality control clerk to ensure consistent compliance with all divisions, corporate and regulatory requirements. Performing a variety of clerical duties for technical quality control support staff like collecting and compiling data from various samples, taking care of correspondence and preparing periodic reports may also fall under the purview of a quality control clerk job.
The minimum qualification required for a quality control clerk is a high school diploma, though some companies may prefer a college education. Prior work experience in a quality control setting is desirable but not mandatory. A candidate should also possess good communication, mathematical, organizational and computer skills.
