ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
The Opportunity: You’ll be joining a people-focused company as a member of a dynamic team shaping the future of our Quality organization. As a Quality Assurance Auditor you will be responsible for:
Planning, performing, reporting, follow-up and closure of both internal Quality Management System audits and external supplier audits.
Audits performed will include cross-functional areas focusing on Quality System, operational and business processes requirements across multiple Sensitech facilities and multiple key suppliers globally.
Periodically review existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with current practice and Sensitech’s Quality Management System.
Key contributor to continuous improvement activities for products, services and systems performance.
Performs audits in alignment with current Quality Management System controls and performance monitoring elements to assess effectiveness and compliance to documented procedures and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Works with the Director of Quality Assurance, Quality Systems Manager and Global Quality Manager to develop, implement, monitor and manage the company’s internal and supplier audit schedule.
Works closely with and provides assistance in training/oversight for current cross-functional volunteer internal audit teams at Sensitech’s four ISO certified facilities.
Interact with various levels of management and staff in conducting audits.
Performs unscheduled audits to access compliance in support of Non-conformance or unplanned deviation investigations as required.
Prepares reports based on the results of stated audits to be presented and shared with senior staff as necessary.
Assists in the management and maintenance of the policies and procedures.
Identify process improvement opportunities that lead to product and service quality improvements, efficiencies, cost savings and/or revenue enhancement opportunities
Ensure that audit records and documentation are current, accurate and in compliance with requirements.
Maintains required Quality records and documentation for completed audits.
Monitor suppliers’ performance to meet Sensitech quality standards.
Communicate with suppliers and document audit results for quality improvement.
Meet and maintain ISO9001 and ACE standards
Assist and participates in customer and ISO audits as required.
Participates in process qualification for new product launch and support.
Provide monthly metrics and detailed reports to management as required.
Performs other related duties as required.
Certification as an ISO 9001 lead auditor from a nationally recognized quality organization.
Minimum 5 years’ experience auditing to ISO 9001 requirements.
Associate’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or equivalent education/professional training along with an extended work experience in a Quality/Engineering role.
Experience and knowledge of GxP, ISO 13485, and ISO 17025 requirements.
Experience within a high volume, low cost electronics manufacturing environment a plus.
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to communicate with co-worker, suppliers and Sensitech global personnel in an accurate and professional manner.
Computer literate (Including, but not limited to: Windows, MS Office, PowerBI).
Strong analytical skills
30-40% Travel required
Highly organized self-starter, work independently, proactively and willing to learn.
Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements
Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards
Attend scheduled EH&S training program
Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans
Recommend improved EH&S practices
