Manual & Automation Software Tester QA / project-based
We are seeking a Professional to integrate in a small team, working remotely and in English. You will collaborate with the product owner and lead developer to deliver high quality testing and align to the best practices inside the team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare test plans, test cases and test scripts according to the specifications of the application under test
- Execute tests to the agreed standards and timelines
- Constantly identifies issues and performs accurate regressions of existing bugs
- Manages bug entry to minimize invalid and duplicate issues
- Executes test cases and suites using test case management systems (JIRA)
- Organizes the workload according to the priorities
- Offering constant and relevant feedback related to progress or blockages that may occur
- Assesses and escalates issues and concerns to senior team members
- Shares constructive opinions with team members and management team
- Communicates risks and dependencies to ensure that they have visibility and are addressed; raises any issues blocking progress in a timely manner
- Understand the purpose of test automation and contributes to the automation process (Cypress)
Key competencies:
- Good technical background;
- Proven experience with testing large enterprise applications;
- Knowledge of structured test methods and processes;
- Knowledge of testing methodologies (Waterfall model/V model/Agile model)
- Working knowledge of Test Management tools
- ISTQB foundation certification in Software testing (or equivalent) is a plus
Required technical experience:
- 2 years experience in Quality Assurance Processes and Methodologies.
Nice to have knowledge of:
- Cypress framework;
- JavaScript basic knowledge;
- Sélenium
