Responsible for hands on planning, test execution and reporting of multi-platform (on-prem, cloud) products/solutions across Desktop, Web and Mobile applications for one or more agile software quality teams with focus on new innovative software automation solutions and continuous improvement in delivery of test efficiency and coverage metrics of the quality team.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Responsible for test planning and reporting of one of scrum team deliverables
Responsible for test case development and maintenance (manual/automation)
Hands on experience of developing or expanding test automation frameworks that provide a foundation for reliable, robust and resilient test automation that can be integrated into a CI/CD pipeline or executed separately for on-prem or cloud platforms
Hands on experience of non functional testing (Performance , Scalability, Concurrency, Reliability , Availability, Interoperability , Compatibility) from planning to test execution / reporting.
Act as point of contact for all test related queries and provide technical test support and training for test team members for products or platforms responsible for.
Define and actively lead on-going development of testing processes and implementation of testing best practice.
Ensure QA process, engineering priorities are considered and provide progress updates on a regular basis.
Ensure defect and test automation backlogs have a plan for resolution which can be measured and reported against on a regular basis.
Influences Leadership Teams internally or externally.
Demonstrates understanding of key cross functional concepts that impact the company, business priorities, & organizational dynamics.
Comprehends the products of business and how the automation concepts can be applied to provide solutions.
Connects, inspires, and builds loyalty & commitment through inclusion.
Applies and follows knowledge of technical expertise, QA best practices, and proven processes to lead a small team of software testers.
Technical Skills:
Expert in technical testing of various Desktop, Web and Mobile applications with proven ability to lead all areas of testing with hands on experience of test automation.
Hands on experience of some of the test tools e.g. Katalon, Selenium, Kobiton , SOAP UI , Jenkins, JMeter, Qtest
Hand on experience of cloud technologies such as docker, Kubernetes. AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECR, AppStream. Azure Services such as AKS, ACR, AVD.
Passion for Quality Assurance, Automated Testing, Testing Best Practice, Team Collaboration.
Excellent leadership skills
Able to mentor and motivate team members to meet business needs and prioritise conflicting requirements using sound commercial judgment.
Commitment to following and championing Agile.
Experience of TDD (test-driven development) and BDD
Experience of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with significant experience.

• Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time/resource for Automation
