Required Skills and Qualifications;
LEAN, Six Sigma tools and methods, Business Process Management, Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering
Candidate must have implemented LEAN Six Sigma
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science • Ability to design, develop and implement application development and maintenance processes changes
• At least 5 years of experience working on application development, maintenance and production support projects using multiple technology platforms
• At least 5 additional years of consulting experience of which at least 3 years must be on software development lifecycle (SDLC) process improvement
• Participation in at least one full lifecycle Lean ADM project
• Must have deep knowledge of software development and maintenance lifecycles (SDLC’s), ITIL and software engineering methods
• Must have deep knowledge of process improvement framework such as CMMI
• Good knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma tools and methods, Business Process Management, Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to rapidly master client specific ADM process, Lean ADM Method, models and tools and provide application leadership and mentoring in this context
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Skills and experience in end-to-end process analysis, design and improvement to rapidly deliver major business outcomes
• Ability to produce high quality written and verbal communication within a knowledge management framework
• Strong PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, Blueworks, Minitab Desirable Skills
• Masters in MIS Personal Attributes
• Can work independently to deliver result
• Team player and collaborative working style to implement change
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments accordingly
• Can effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
• The role is to work with the dedicated Operations Development and Client Lean project team to develop improved processes and implement changes to drive efficiency and productivity improvements • Support discovery walkthrough to understand current ADM processes • support collection and analysis of baseline data (e.g., org data, tickets, change requests, process flow maps) • Conduct workshops with ADM leads and conduct value stream mapping (VSM) • Interview frontline staff to understand value-add vs. non-value-add work for different skill sets • Identify opportunities for improvement and bottlenecks through waste analysis and consistency analysis • Analyze incoming work/demand and workload allocation methods • Support Client operating state design • Codify process changes • Support implementation of changes to get to Client state
