Description

The Senior Quality Engineer carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. The Senior Quality Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Quality Engineer performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. this individual documents and works to resolve all complex problems and reports progress on problem resolution to management. They act as an information resource about assigned areas to technical writers. This person participates in influencing department's strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. This individual exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications


5 or more years of technical experience
Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing methodologies
Experience leading large and distributed remote teams
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Experience performing complex work flow analysis and recommending quality improvements
Core business hours align to Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Work-At-Home Requirements


WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree
Understanding of Agile methodology
Experience with qTest
Experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with Microsoft Teams
