Pension Administration Client Service Leader (The Woodlands, TX) Aon is looking for a Pension Administration Client Service Leader. The Pension Administration Practice currently has openings for experienced a Pension Administration Client Service Leader in multiple locations. We are seeking experienced Pension Administration professionals to join this rapidly expanding practice to direct new and existing client activities in our Lincolnshire, IL, Atlanta, GA, The Woodlands, TX, Norwalk, CT, Winston Salem, NC and Irvine, CA locations. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by leading the delivery of pension administration services to our clients. The target salary range for this position is $84,300 to $115,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both from home and your aligned office.Your Impact as a Pension Administration Client Service LeaderAs a Pension Administration Client Service Leader, the qualified candidate will be a leader on the team that provides defined benefit administrative services to over 300 clients using proprietary software. Day-to-day management of a specific client or clients, assisting with implementations, managing special projects, delegating work among colleagues within a project, and acting as a mentor and role model are key responsibilities.Job Responsibilities:Client Service ManagementConsult with client on special projects such as nonstandard benefit calculations, benefit statements, changes to requirements, special programs or other administrative requestsHandle benefit plan administration and management of special projects associated with defined benefit plans for various clientsKnowledgeable of client contract components with the ability to recognize out-of-scope workEnsure that measures established jointly by Aon/client are met for items such as:Calculation turnaround, Phone call returns, Benefit payment entry, Assist in collection of data for client billingsResponsible for quality control of the client's pension calculation systemMaintain current knowledge of client specific plan provisionsBroaden knowledge of defined benefit administration rulesMaintain client databases and benefit calculation logAssist in creating project timelines and ensure that deadlines are metAssist in the collection of dataAnalyze plan provisionsReview and perform benefit calculationsRespond to member/participant calls and facilitates requestsCoordinate monthly pension payments with trusteeConsult with employee on pension plan provisions and payment electionsColleague CoachingAct as a role model for other colleagues by exhibiting the values of the firm, displaying benefit of the doubt, integrity, and initiativeCoaching colleagues regarding plan specific issues and technical competencies; this includes all colleagues working on clients, mentoring new colleagues, and more formal team trainingAct as a role model for soliciting and providing positive and constructive feedbackAssist in ensuring that work is evenly distributed among the teamPension ImplementationAssist with the set-up and testing of the of proprietary software for new clients according to the plan provisions and administrative requirementsAssist with the development of plan administrator documentsCustomize employee communication materialYou Bring Knowledge and Expertise:Bachelor's degreeA minimum of 8 years of experience working with pension, defined benefit plans/administrationDemonstrated project management, client consulting, and team management skillsReview of legal documentation/understand and communicate effectively any new rules/regulations to clientsConsulting background highly preferredPension formula knowledge requiredHow we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
