Responsibilities:
•Act as a tester for various applications within the Loyalty Platform. The current platform integrates ETL, UI and MicroStrategy efforts requiring a deep understanding of each.

•Collaborate with offshore and onshore project resources (vendor and staff) to ensure accurate, adequate and on-time deliverables

•Provide low-level support for Product Office end-users during User Acceptance Testing.

•Review, facilitate and maintain test plans, testing strategies, test cases, test data, matrices and other QA related documentation.

•Review and provide input into requirements, specifications, design documents and other development documentation.

•Communicate effectively with developers, project managers, business stakeholders and other QA engineers within and beyond the immediate team.
Review and assist with the creation of documentation, test cases and test execution from vendor resources both on and offshore.
Perform hands-on testing/troubleshooting/debugging on UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms as part of a team when required.
Execute and drive ad-hoc emergency requests as part of Business As Usual (BAU) production fixes, emergency changes and enhancements
Strong understanding of QA methodologies; performing quality assurance activities including analyzing business requirements to produce test strategies and review test plans; design and conduct test case reviews; experience in tracking project activities according to Project Management guidelines.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the IT industry in a Quality Assurance testing capacity
Minimum 2 years experience with Ab Initio and ETL testing. Must have hands on Ab Initio experience

Minimum 2 years experience with Unix:
Basic commands (i.e. wc, grep, cut, sort, more cat); modify existing scripts.
VI editor, edit files experience.
Create, rename, delete, copy files and directories; maneuver around the directory structure, find specific files; set and modify file permissions; write simple regular expressions.

SQL Database experience:
find a specific record in the table and display data for specified fields; update a field and a record in the table; delete record from a table; calculation of records and columns in the table.
Basic understanding of redirection.
Basic understanding of RDBMS.
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written); able to communicate with Development, Project Management, Product Office and QA staff/management to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.

Must:
Minimum 2 years experience with Ab Initio**; Must have hands on Ab Initio experience** Communication skills - verbal; Quick learner to pick up processes quickly;
