Description

The Senior Stars Improvement, Clinical Professional responsible for the development, implementation and management oversight of the company's Medicare/Medicaid Stars Program. The Senior Stars Improvement, Clinical Professional works with large MSO where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

-Home office with 50% travel in the state of FL. You must live in FL to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

The Senior Stars Improvement, Clinical Professional focuses on areas of clinical emphasis


Requires a general understanding of Stars operations and ability to effectively communicate the Stars strategy
Knowledge of the technical specifications and codes within attributed value sets
Detail oriented and willing to learn the more minute parts of HEDIS measures and gap closure processes with limited guidance and direction


Required Qualifications


Registered Nurse
5 or more years of Medicare experience working in a Health Plan
3 or more years of Quality Improvement experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office XP products (Word, Excel and Access)


Preferred Qualifications


Case Management and/or clinical experience
Bilingual English and Spanish

Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

Work at Home Guidance

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:


At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
