You will inspect incoming material, parts and purchased parts as well as service repair parts, in-process and final inspection!nWhat are the responsibilities?nnReads and understands drawings, process specifications, procedures, work instructions, inspection documentation and certificates, in metric measurement units.nUses precision measuring equipment as well as specialized inspection and testing equipment.nPrepares and maintains clear inspection documentation for the above functions.nAnalyze the results of gear charts/graphs and CMM data.nSupports the Lead Inspection and the Quality Specialist by leading the scheduled Calibration and Certification by accurately maintaining all measuring equipment and other gauges or items related to test bench to include sound and vibration equipment, temperature equipment, oil testers, speed, torque equipment, etc. and by delivering gauges on-time.nAssist in tracking and filling of inspection documentation.nOperate overhead crane/forklift.nnWhat knowledge/skills, education, and experience is required for this position?nnHigh School diploma or equivalent.n3 years of experience as an inspector or machinist.nPrevious experience using precision measuring equipment.nExtensive knowledge of blueprint reading, incoming inspection documents/protocols, shop mathematics, FAI and ISO standard.nKnowledge of metric measurement and tolerance system.nKnowledge of Quality Assurance methods and practices and CMM inspection parameters.nExperience with Microsoft Office Tools.nnWhat other skills/experience and/or education would assist you in this role?nnPrevious experience with ANSI, ISO, DIN and NEMA standards.nExperience with SAPnnQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the Unites States.
