The Quality Engineering Principal defines enterprise quality strategy, tools and guidance to improve product quality. Highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience and strong communication skills. The Principal Quality Engineer carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

The Quality Engineering Principal will be responsible for


Define and Drive Enterprise QA strategies, standards, tools, best practices, and processes aligning to meet the organization IT goals
Measure Performance on Quality Initiatives
Consolidate a broader vision for the Quality Program roadmap, integrating and identifying dependencies between initiatives.
Serves as a point of contact for all communications related to SPARQ Quality Engineering Initiatives, involving roadmaps, status, risks, blockers, achievements.
Build strong working relationships within IT and business teams to identify the quality needs and provide scalable solutions.
Being a positive change agent for popular and unpopular change.
Develop robust analytics and drive improvements to quality control metrics.
Remain current with industry and technology trends that impact their domain as well as the future direction of associated technologies.
Advises and provides recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance, and as an advanced quality engineering subject matter expert competent to work at very high levels in multiple knowledge and functional areas across the enterprise.


Required Qualifications


10 years of technical experience with a focus on IT quality engineering
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technical field
5 years of experience in owning and defining enterprise level test strategies like cloud testing strategy and DevOps test strategy
Experience in initiating and leading strategic quality initiatives (eg, environment virtualization, low code automation)
Experience driving quality metrics at an enterprise leve
Hands on experience in evaluating and determining the quality tools related to (but not limited to) test automation, performance, Test life cycle management that will help Humana IT delivery quality at speed to meet business needs
Extensive experience in design principles for QA Automation, Performance Engineering, API testing, Mobile Automation
Good knowledge of IT ecosystem, architectures and technical standards
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test methodologies
Creative thinker and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise-wide
Outstanding written, oral and presentation skills across all levels of an organization
Skill in collaboration and diplomacy to ensure effective working relationships across matrixed teams


Preferred Qualifications


Experience in Healthcare domain is preferred
