Food Quality Assurance Jobs description
A food quality assurance professional is responsible for ensuring that the food being cooked or preserved meets certain taste and hygiene related benchmarks. A food quality assurance professional is typically responsible for checking all machines, equipments and storage rooms for discrepancies, visiting production plants and checking the taste and composition of food items, checking the preservability of food items by various available techniques, collecting food item samples, checking food items to know about the taste of food products, preparing quality reports in this area and giving feedback to plant supervisors. A food quality assurance professional typically reports to a plant supervisor.A food quality assurance professional should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in food science. Excellent academic credentials are required. Prior experience in food quality assurance is desirable.
