Quality Assurance Tester Jobs

A quality assurance tester makes sure that products or services being developed by a company meet all specified quality requirements. A quality assurance tester’s job is to test and improve a company’s products and services, thereby increasing the company’s credibility and efficiency in the market.

The primary responsibility of a quality assurance tester is to prepare and implement test plans, define testing requirements and develop best standards and practices for testing. Other duties include system functionality testing, managing change request documentation and procedures, and writing and maintaining manual test cases. Additionally, a quality assurance tester also interacts and coordinates with different departments like business development, project management etc for developing testing goals, strategies and objectives.

A quality assurance tester job requires a bachelor’s degree in science or related fields from an accredited college. Prior QA testing experience is desirable. Knowledge of FDA and state and federal regulations is also important. A quality assurance tester should also possess good computer, analytical, organizational and technical skills.
